Kat & Doug’s wedding day was the most beautiful blend of culture, creativity, and pure joy. As SF city locals, their ceremony took place at the Golden Gate Botanical Gardens, surrounded by greenery and natural beauty. Just when guests thought the moment couldn’t get any more special, they were surprised with an incredible Lion Dance performance — a vibrant, high-energy celebration that honored tradition and set the tone for a day filled with meaning and excitement.
The celebration continued at The Olympic Club Lakeside, which was transformed into an elegant and deeply personal reflection of their story. The design felt refined yet playful, layered with thoughtful details that made the entire experience uniquely theirs. One of the most memorable touches? Their very own coffee shop pop-up! Serving guests cappuccinos, espresso martinis and affogatos throughout the evening!
Every element was intentional. Every moment felt alive. Kat & Doug created a celebration that was not only stunning, but completely, authentically them — and it was an absolute honor to bring it to life.
She was incredibly organized and responsive, but also patient with us and helpful when we were behind on tasks and/or needed a little extra guidance to make a decision. We did a combination of hiring vendors and DIY-ing projects and she managed to juggle all of that effortlessly.
The day of our wedding was so smooth and seamless and we have Liv and her team to thank for that. We were able to be completely calm and 100% present with each other and our guests because we had complete faith that all the preparation we had done with her leading up to the wedding would pay off, and we completely trusted her to take it from there.
A 200-person wedding is no easy task to execute but it truly surpassed our expectations. We wish we could do it again!
